Incubators have electrical heating elements controlled by thermostats. A fan circulates the heat to get even distribution. Most incubators also have oxygen controllers so specified oxygen concentration and humidification can be set. Incubators alarm for the following- over temperature, fan failure, main failure and oxygen over/under concentration.
