Cashmere Yarn
These fibers are combed from the cashmere/Kashmir goat. Only the soft undercoat is used, as the long guard hairs are stiff. Pashmina is the trade name for superlight, superfine cashmere, and can be purchased as yarn, although the term has become synonymous with shawls.
